Sanskar Netra Rugnalaya and Phaco Centre, Karad is the first eye hospital in Satara district, to get Full ECO NABH Accreditation.

Sanskar Netrarugnalaya is a private eye hospital running successfully in the historic city of Karad since 2004. Headed by Dr. Rahul Phase as an eye surgeon, who has done his graduation as well as post graduation from the renowned Dr. V.M. Medical College Solapur and also worked as a lecturer as the same college and Civil Hospital, Solapur.

Dr. Rahul Phase was give the fellowship at the hands of Padmashree Dr. Vikas Mahatme for the excellent work in the field of anterior segment of an eye, especially the Phacoemulsification.

Dr.Rahul Phase is equally supported by Dr.Asmita Phase, who, has done her undergraduation from the esteemed Grant Medical College, Mumbai, and postgraduation from renowned National Institute of Ophthalmology Pune.
Dr Asmita Phase is also the recipient of fellowship in Medical Retina. Thus the diabetic and hypertension patients coming with retinopathy are now benefited by the LASER treatment and anti VGEF therapy at the hands of Dr.Asmita Phase.
This add-on facility has benefited many diabetic and hypertensive patients coming to Sanskar Netrarugnalay and Phaco Center.

Special surgeries for dacryocystitis and pterigium, like external D.C.R. and pterigium excision with conjunctival auto graft, Glaucoma and Pediatric Cataract surgeries are performed with great skill and excellent results for the patients at Sanskar Netrarugnalaya.
